In this edition of NSM magazine, we focus on the old and the new location of the Nijmegen School of Management. This is because we’ve moved! Our new home is the Elinor Ostrom Building (previously known as Gymnasion-Noord). Nobel-prize winner, Elinor Ostrom, became famous through her research into institutional conditions for effective collaboration, in particular with respect to cultural and natural resources of societies: ‘the common pool resources’. The choice of the name of this multidisciplinary scientist for the new building underlines the multidisciplinary character of the NSM.

We take a look back at the Thomas van Aquinostraat, where our alumni - including the Dutch education minister, Ingrid van Engelshoven, spent their student days. And, obviously, we want to show our readers our new home through articles, but mainly through images. The building is characterised by its transparency, space, a dynamic atmosphere and modern facilities.

Finally, we also introduce the new Radboud Recharge online platform for alumni of our university. Here, you can find stories and activities all in one place, and tuned to your interests.

To experience the building’s atmosphere for yourself, please join us on our public open day on 2 June 2018!
