The alumni networks, study programmes and Nijmegen School of Management had drawn up a programme that would allow alumni to take in the atmosphere at TvA one last time. A final look, and a final walk through the corridors of TvA 1, 3 and 5. From 5pm, the study programmes organised their own activities. These varied from a tour of the building to a quiz, or a presentation from TvA’s architect. Later, there was a buffet for all the participants in The Refter canteen, giving guests the opportunity to catch up and recall old memories over dinner. After the buffet, the alumni went to CC1 where the Dean, Professor Paul Hendriks, welcomed everyone and gave an amusing address to the different ‘blood groups’ in the audience.
Paul Arets, the architect of the Gymnasion and the new Elinor Ostrom Building, gave a presentation about the renovation and new building work that had been carried out to create the new home for the Nijmegen School of Managment.
Finally, the alumni were divided into groups and given a tour of the new home of Nijmegen School of Management. The evening closed with drinks in the Sports Cafe, where guests talked about the good old days in TvA and toasted a new start in the impressive Elinor Ostrom Building!
